“Our mission is to establish breathing as the key to health in our society and to make it accessible to everyone – as low-threshold as possible and as professional as necessary.

That is why we work closely with leading experts, multipliers and organizations from medicine and healthcare, including patient organizations, wellness and hospitality. We set high standards for our partners in terms of ethics and sustainability and select them very carefully" BreathQ
In an interview with author, speaker and podcaster Nella Rausch from Zellenkarussell, I talk about the healing power of breathing in general, but also specifically in the case of cancer.
Nella Rausch and I met a few months ago at the YES!CON 5.0 (Germany's largest cancer convention) in Berlin. After initial skepticism, she accepted my very emphatic invitation and had a ventilator in our "breathing room" in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the trade fair.
Her experience was probably convincing, because two months later she was invited to dedicate an entire podcast episode to the topic of breathing.

As a cancer expert and someone who has been affected herself (stage VI non-Hodgkin lymphoma), Nella works tirelessly for better doctor-patient communication - so it was clear to me that this would be a 'no bullshit' talk and that we would also shed light on the scientific context.
We talk about the importance of nasal breathing, the different techniques such as straw breathing, box breathing and Wim Hoff's balancing breathing, about South Africa and my growing up as a Zulu girl in the African bush. But also about the parasympathetic nervous system, the sympathetic nervous system and homeostasis, the autonomic nervous system and our projects with the Cancer Campus led by the wonderful Dr. Babette Baraniec.
Our shared idea: to develop breathing techniques specifically for people with cancer and to have them scientifically supported by the Cancer Campus. As a cancer survivor and breathing expert, my goal is to include “Breathwork for Cancer” in the supportive guidelines!
Which means: A continuation of our talk is already planned. Stay tuned.
After the podcast is before the podcast – always with meticulous preparation!

Including exciting links and three exclusive breathing exercises
